Defferent Ways To Join New Yarn In Crochet
By
So here I’m showing my own ways adding or joining new yarns in my crochet work. Quite often in crochet you would need to join a new yarn of a different colour or sometimes yarn simply breaks or ends.
There are several ways to join in your yarn
1. Draw in a new thread onto your hook & pull through the stitch already on the hook leaving the tail at the back to be stitched in later.
2. End off your yarn & start your new yarn with a slip knot.
3. Tie a reef knot with the new yarn close to your hook leaving the knot at the back of your work. ALWAYS stitch loose threads into work.

I too have been crocheting for many, many years and always welcome new ideas to achieve better results. I too did not know or have seen this idea of joining different yarns. I used to do square knots. Thanks a bunch. Love your work too. I found your site from YouTube.
PS: I did have a website (several) on Yahoo until their reconstruction and deleted everyone’s websites without notice….I too teach, but PSP software.
